Vintage 1950s Black Leather Handbag With Buff Suede Lining And Elbief Frame 

Condition Is Used - in good condition showing signs of use. Some faint aged cracking in the leather as shown in composite photo. 

Size 9.5 x 7 x 2.75 inches. (Width, Height, Depth) 

The outer shell is in good condition showing signs of use with some faint aged cracking in the leather 

Gold toned frame and fittings with raised double semi-circular snap closure clasp with raised black leather frame 

The clasp and frame shuts tightly and squarely together.

The base of the bag is clean. 

The bag has an Elbief frame and features beautiful gold tone fittings. 

The interior of the bag's frame displays the round Elbief England' mark a Birmingham based company that made frames for good quality British handbags dating from around the late 1940s through to the late 1970's. 

The inside is very clean with one large open pocket and a brass zipped pocket. 

The handles are single stitched and are in good condition with front leather lugs
